[Poetry] Two poems by Audrey Daniels

Flight 11-16

No matter how hard I looked, no matter how hard I tried, I could not separate the ocean from the sky.

Cat’s Eyes Catch the cat’s eye and win A hidden dagger down the River running till you Seal the sale and sold All you had and hold. Harrowed and hale is Every man who makes The world his own.

Audrey Daniels is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in the Humanities with an emphasis in Creative Writing and Screenwriting at John Paul the Great Catholic University. Her poetry, short fiction, and artwork have appeared in the JPCatholic student journals: The Pelican’s, Plume, and Out of the Cave.
